This is the message I received after searching for videos on the Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989. Basically, any major information created from a source outside of China is blocked on the internet.
Erik took us to Tiananmen Square today and we experienced our first rush-hour train (as you can see below). Today was also momentous in that I tried to bargain for the first time. I was unsuccessful at buying a Harry Potter book, I pissed off a lady showing me a Mao bag which I never wanted in the first place, and I was charged too much for ice cream (but it was worth it). The size of Beijing is overwhelming, but it manages to present so much opportunity at the same time.
