Last night was the Chinese Moon Festival. This is the time of year everyone spends with their family and friends, eats moon cake, and drinks - I think. After a 2 hour journey through scuzzy parts of Beijing we got to the bar district and had a good time. Every adventure brings about new experiences and stories when you are in Beijing.

Erik leaves tomorrow morning for South Korea. I wish him luck as he attempts to step foot into the North. For the record, my shirt and tie will be traveling with him as he crosses. Tomorrow officially starts life in China without Erik the Tour Guide.
