August arrives sending unprepared thoughts into my head. Asia in 1 month, really?
Corinne and I went to the city last night for the outdoor film festival in grant park. We watched Written in the Wind, but I didn't find it as intriguing as last week's movie, Double Indemnity. The movie didn't catch my attention fast enough and before I knew it people watching and gazing at the skyline had taken up two hours. It's nice to get out on a Tuesday night and make an ordinary weekday into something special.
Tomorrow is my last day at NISRA. Besides a friendship formed with an amazingly imaginative kid named Bob (picture coming soon), not much positive was taken out of this 7 weeks. In that time I convinced Bob he was on a journey to become a wizard, that unicorns formed establishments in Crystal Lake forests, and that I was an alum of a 'Take Over the World Camp'. I will miss this charming little man.
How does a bridge collapse? Shouldn't architects have planned against something like this?
